Listen to our 1-hour audio course where host Dawn Davenport, Executive Director of Creating a Family, the national infertility education and support nonprofit interviews  Alice Domar, Ph.D. 

Dr. Domar is the author of numerous books including Conquering Infertility and Six Steps to Increased Fertility. She is the Executive Director of the Domar Center for Mind/Body Health and the Director of Mind/Body Services at Boston IVF. Dr. Domar will cover strategies and coping skills for the stress of infertility.

Intended Audience:

This course is designed for infertility patients, infertility nurses and nurse practitioners, as well as other professionals working in the field of infertility or women’s health.

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify 4 coping skills to help patients deal with the emotions of infertility.

  • Explain 3 techniques couples can use to help strengthen their marriage when going through infertility treatment.

  • Identify ways nurses or infertility professionals can help guide patients in managing their stress during infertility treatment.

  • Identify techniques for coping with infertility treatment failure.

1.3 Hour CE credit by NPWH (estimated time to complete course 1 h 20 m)

* A certificate of completion will be immediately awarded online upon successful completion of the course including passing a 10-question quiz (with a score of 80% or higher) and completing a course evaluation.
